Hello again surprised you're here for a third article. First of all the author of this does a very good job of getting his point across in just 3 paragraphs. Maya Kosoff begins this article by getting straight to the point. She gives background information on the failed coup attempt in Turkey. Then provides aftermath details about how the terrorist were linked to Wikipedia. She gets this point across by using elevated word diction in order to seem more factual as well as elevate the quality of the article overall. Words such as "vague" and "vastly" just improve the sentences in general. The author's tone is very informational and focused more towards getting the information out rather than involving any emotions or opinions. Maya is one of the few who post anything about technology on Vanity Fair. Since Wikipedia and other social media sites are used in this topic she was able to connect the two topics allowing for her to have a valid purpose. One thing that Maya did well was appeal to Logos when she talked about the number of people arrested for the attempted coup. This was very critical in that is painted a picture of how large the coup was. Overall her argument is solid through and through.
